I was skeptical about the licorice root since I usually hate that taste, but with the citrus and ginger it’s surprisingly balanced. This is my evening ritual now, and the fennel leaves a clean finish that actually calms my stomach before bed.
That cinnamon-ginger warmth hits right after brewing, and the citrus note keeps it from being too heavy. I've been drinking it every evening instead of tea, and the fennel adds a nice subtle sweetness that lingers.
I was a little wary of the pleurisy root and white oak bark being in there, but the ginger and cinnamon really warm it up without any caffeine jolt. Steeped it for about seven minutes and the citrus came through nicely. This is going into my evening rotation for sure.
