I brewed this as soon as it arrived and the grassy aroma filled my kitchen instantly. The sweet finish after that savory kick is such a nice contrast, and the tin keeps it fresh enough for a second cup later.
The savory undertones really come through in the first sip, and that sweet, light finish lingers just long enough. I’m not usually into grassy teas, but this one’s balanced enough that it’s become my go-to for a calm afternoon pick-me-up. The 1.82 oz tin has lasted me a good while too.
The tin arrived sealed tight, so the tea's fresh, grassy aroma hit me right away when I cracked it open. The savory undertone is unlike any sencha I've had, but that sweet, light finish keeps it from being too bold. Probably my new afternoon go-to.
